The Special Projects sub-committee makes donations to worthy causes in Saddleworth. If you feel your organisation could benefit from a grant please apply in writing to Tony Marlor, Clerk of the Council, Civic Hall, Lee Street, Uppermill OL3 6AE. All applications must be accompanied by a current statement of the organisation’s financial accounts.

The Committee is also responsible for the Saddleworth in Bloom and Saddleworth Illumination competitions.

Local Radio Personality and Gardening expert, Tom Leigh assisted in the judging of the Saddleworth in Bloom 2007 competition in July. The results were:
